Fortunoff Backyard Store recently signed a commitment agreement with commercial real estate services firm Levin Management Corporation (LMC), as exclusive leasing and managing agent, to lease out a 9,400-square-foot showroom at Somerset Shopping Center in Bridgewater, New Jersey. LMC served as exclusive agent during negotiations for this deal formerly occupied by Pier 1 Imports. Since being acquired by private equity firm NRDC in 2005 and again by its Fortunoff family in 2009, Fortunoff now operates seven locations of its Backyard Stores across New York State Connecticut and New Jersey plus one flagship location located in Westbury New York which offers home, jewelry and furniture offerings to help promote their brand further.
