Crystal Cave Collection
The Crystal Cave at Sequoia National Park is one of California’s premier attractions and a must see when visiting California. Each day hundreds of visitors marvel at its exquisitely maintained rooms as they take the one hour tour; perfect for both children and family groups to enjoy together!
An amazing underground cave featuring abundant stalactites, stalagmites, pillars and dripstone formations illuminated by indirect lighting. Safe pathways and steel railings enable visitors to descend 125 feet underground where temperatures remain at an ideal 54 degrees all year-round.
The cave was lovely and its guide was extremely knowledgeable about its crystal formation process and conservation through regular cave cleanings. It was well worth my trip although be warned; stairways can be steep and some areas narrow; it takes approximately 5.2 miles from start to finish on graded dirt roads/two-track jeep trails that passable with high clearance, 2WD vehicles in good weather!
